6:30 pm wine & hors d’oeuvres
An evening of fine food & wine, celebrity fool-making, out-loud laughter,
and extraordinary treasures – all to benefit a very good cause!
Tip a Fool, is a Gala Evening of Celebrity Foolmaking that may well be Victoria’s most fun night of the year. It’s an evening of laugh-out-loud antics as local celebrities serve up a gourmet meal in the elegance of the beautiful Union Club Ballroom while offering their dinner guests incredible, and often one-of-a-kind trinkets, tokens, and surprizes as they compete for tips.
“Tip a Fool is an incredible event that makes my soul sing.
It is the most fun you can have at a fundraiser without peeing your pants.”
~ Deanna Young, Food for Thought Catering, 4 x Tip a Fool Champion
Whether it’s dinner for 10 at your home – complete with wine – served up by five of Victoria’s finest chefs, or an elegant dinner for eight in the penthouse of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel – to the soothing tones of a live jazz duo and a well-known sommelier topping up your champagne glass – there’s really no limit to the delightful surprises to be had at Tip a Fool.
But Tip a Fool isn’t just for laughs, in all that craziness it manages to raise a lot of greatly-needed money so that Citizens’ Counselling Centre can continue to provide services to the over 1,200 people that come to us every year asking for our help.
It is a lot of fun for a worthy cause and the Citizens’ Counselling Centre is very grateful to the Victoria community for its support.
We hope you’ll come out and play with us!
